TPlum Varieties T-budding is done in late summer during late July through the end of September. It is commonly used on stone fruit like peaches, apricots, plums, and cherries. It requires a little less mechanical skill than chip budding, but does require that the bark be slipping (separating easily from the woody part of the shoot).
